Everything you need to know about CodXVoid.

What exactly is 'The Void' philosophy?+

It's about removing the noise. In a world of 'hustle culture' and constant notifications, CodXVoid focuses on deep work, minimal interfaces, and purposeful code. We build things that are necessary, not just loud.

I'm a absolute beginner. Can I really contribute?+

Yes. Every expert was once a beginner. We have 'first-timers-only' issues and a supportive community that will review your code with kindness. We value your growth as much as the code itself.

What is the time commitment for contributors?+

There is none. We are async by design. You can contribute 1 hour a month or 20 hours a week—it’s entirely up to you. Life comes first; the code will be here when you're ready.

How do I get my project featured under CodXVoid?+

We look for projects that align with our minimal aesthetic and functional utility. Send us a link to your repo or a pitch document. If it resonates with our goals, we'll discuss bringing it into the organization.

Do you provide mentorship for students?+

While we don't have a formal 'class' structure, our pull request reviews act as active mentorship. You'll get direct feedback from more experienced engineers on every piece of code you submit.

What if I make a mistake and break something?+

That’s part of the process! We use branch protection and tests to catch issues, but even if something slips through, we treat it as a learning moment. No one gets blamed here.

Is CodXVoid a non-profit?+

We are an independent open-source collective. Currently, we focus on community-led growth. Our goal is to stay sustainable while keeping our core tools free and open for everyone.

Can I use CodXVoid tools for my commercial projects?+

Most of our projects are licensed under MIT or Apache 2.0, meaning you can use them for almost anything. Always check the LICENSE file in the specific repository to be sure.

How can I stay updated on new initiatives?+

Follow our GitHub organization and join our Discord/discussions. We also publish periodic 'Void Logs' where we summarize what we’ve built and what we’re learning.
